Child care is available during select class times at the studio, including morning, evening and weekend classes! There are no age limitations, but space is limited so advance reservations are required.     Neighborhood Barre  provides a low-impact, high-energy workout in a
small group-training environment, providing one-on-one attention in
each class to maximize your results.    
    
 ​Neighborhood Barre offers clients a results-addicting workout where clients achieve lean muscle tone, greater flexibility, lost inches and gained energy. Our classes are low-impact and easy on the joints, and our workouts are extremely dynamic and deliver an added cardio effect that is hard to find in most barre-based workouts. We encourage each client to work at his or her own level, with the goal of working your muscles to fatigue in each class. Our instructors are hands-on to ensure you get the most out of your 55 minutes in the studio, as well as provide modifications to take the intensity both up or down during every class. Therefore our workout is ideal for any fitness level or age and can safely accommodate pregnancies, injuries and more!

Neighborhood Barre™ is a unique workout that combines the elements of dance conditioning, pilates, and weight training to create what is commonly referred to as a “dancer’s physique.” The technique primarily uses small isometric movements to carve and sculpt the muscles of the arms, legs, seat, and abs. Each set of exercises is followed by a series of stretches to shape the muscles, making them long and lean. Clients build exceptional core strength, lengthen and shape their thighs, lift and tighten their seat, and sculpt lean muscle tone from head to toe while improving posture and flexibility.

    "I turned 40 and that was the motivation that I needed to commit to an exercise program. I've been to other barre classes, and while I liked the workout I didn't necessarily enjoy the environment. You went in, took your class, and that was that. Then I tried Neighborhood Barre, and it was a completely different experience. They wanted to know my name. They remembered my name. They took the time to help me fix my technique. They were so warm and inviting. It has now been two months since that first class. And while the results are certainly motivating, I feel like I am missed when I'm not there.     “I had been trying a few different classes in the area before I finally signed up for my first class at Neighborhood Barre. I typically run 2-3 times a week and wanted to have something else in my routine that would help tone. My first month here, I went to class three days a week and by week three I was seeing a real difference in the way my clothes fit. Seeing the results that I did, definitely got me hooked, but the instructors here are really what keep me coming back.     "I started Neighborhood Barre over two months ago after having a baby earlier this year. After the first class, I didn't know if it was something I could ever do.     "Honestly, Neighborhood Barre has been such an amazing experience for me! From the moment I walked in the door, I felt so welcome, encouraged, and part of the NB family. After a severe foot break in late 2012 with 4 corrective surgeries (up through July 2015!) and a warning from my surgeon that I'll have foot pain and joint damage my entire life, I never imagined that I'd be able to take a barre class. I already feel so much stronger in my left foot/ankle/leg and have better balance, which has significantly improved my performance in tennis and other activities.
